St Mirren manager Alex Rae has made striker John Sutton his latest signing on a two-year deal ahead of the 2016/17 season.
The 32-year-old begins his second spell at the Paisley club after leaving St Johnstone and can count Raith Rovers, Dundee, Hearts and Motherwell among his other former clubs.
Sutton told the St Mirren website: "I love the club and had a brilliant time here in my first spell (2005-07) but it needs more than that to come back here and for us to do well and me to enjoy it.
"I think Alex (Rae) convinced me that we can be successful here and hopefully I can play a part in that. Everyone knows it is going to be a tough league but I think we have got a squad of players certainly to compete and we’ll see where that takes us."
