Inverness have agreed a one-year deal to sign French striker Gregory Tade from Raith Rovers.
The 24-year-old former Stranraer, Clyde and Forfar frontman helped the Kirkcaldy club come close to winning the First Division title before being pipped by Dunfermline in the run-in.
Tade said: "Everybody knows Terry Butcher is a big man of football. What he has done with Adam Rooney has been great. I thought he was the right fit for me. He has shown interest in me for a long time and when someone keeps scouting you it shows they really want to work with you.
"There were other clubs interested but - no disrespect - it was a no brainer for me to go to Inverness. I see this as a reward for what I did last season and I can't wait to get started.
"I came to Scotland when I was 19 and knew I had a lot of work to do to achieve my goals. I wanted to get to the SPL one day and I'm happy I've got the opportunity to do so."
