Brechin City have been hit with an injury blow after their summer recruit from Hearts, midfielder Callum Tapping, was ruled out for up to six weeks.
The 21-year-old was carried off during Saturday’s 5-0 over Stirling Albion at Forthbank and has been diagnosed with a knee ligament injury that will take four to six weeks to heal.
Manager Ray McKinnon said: “Callum’s injury occurred due to the way he landed rather than any contact. He is a super player and has been doing very well for us so it is disappointing news.”
