GK - Blair Carswell (Spartans)
A man-of-the-match performance from the long-time Spartans keeper is a big reason why the Ainslie Park club are in the last 16. Dougie Samuel's side upset the odds to earn a 1-0 victory away to Livingston and top Group E.
DEF - Stephen O’Donnell (Motherwell)
Stephen O'Donnell helped Motherwell to set up a meeting with his former club Kilmarnock in the next round with the Steelmen conceding two goals on their way to topping Group G. O'Donnell was the leading defender for Stuart Kettlewell's team with the former Scotland international getting on the scoresheet against Edinburgh City.
DEF - Liam Henderson (Falkirk)
Capable of playing in midfield and defence, Henderson performed well across Falkirk's group stage campaign with the Bairns closing out matters with a 4-0 victory over neighbours Stenhousemuir.
DEF - Gavin Molloy (Aberdeen)
The Dons conceded just once across their four victories as they strolled to qualification at the top of Group A. Molloy, a summer signing from Shelbourne, impressed throughout.
MID - Rudi Molotnikov (Hibs)
Hibernian's progression in Group C suffered a temporary blow with defeat to Kelty Hearts but David Gray's men responded in the right fashion to secured a meeting with Celtic in the last 16. Molotnikov, a Scottish U19 international, was the highlight for the Easter Road men with a couple of electric displays and two goals thrown into the bargain.
MID - Roddy MacGregor (Queen’s Park)
The midfielder moved from Inverness to Hampden this summer and the Caley Jags' loss is very much Queen's Park's gain after he bagged five goals from midfield across the Spiders' four matches. Those goals were vital too as Callum Davidson's side were able to reach the next round due to their excellent goal difference as one of the three best second-placed sides.
MID - Alan Trouten (East Fife)
Another goalscoring midfielder, Trouten netted four times in three games, including a hat-trick over Greenock Morton, as the fourth-tier side finished with a respectable seven points in Group F.
MID - Kristijan Trapanovski (Dundee United)
Dundee United made it through in second place in Group B but in Macedonian duo Trapanovski and David Babunski, Jim Goodwin may well have discovered some hidden gems. Trapanovski pips his colleague to a place in this team after scoring three goals and providing two assists.
FWD - Benjamin Kimpioka (St Johnstone)
St. Johnstone made their way into the last 16 after beating East Fife 5-1 in their last group game with Kimpioka scoring twice to move on to five goals for the competition.
FWD - Simon Murray (Dundee)
Nobody loves the group stages of this competition more than Simon Murray. The forward scored his fifth hat-trick for his fifth different club as Dundee thrashed Inverness CT to maintain their perfect record in this year's Premier Sports Cup. Murray sits on five goals for his new club.
FWD - Ben Wilson (Airdrieonians)
The competition's top scorer is the star man in this team with Wilson striking in each and every one of Airdire's four group stage matches. The summer arrival hit the opener in the 2-1 loss to Aberdeen at Pittodrie, one of six goals as Rhys McCabe's side reached the last 16 of the tournament.
