Team of the Week

Craig Fowler selects his latest SPFL Team of the Week, with Queen's Park hat-trick hero David Galt the star man...

GK - Scott Bain (Celtic)
He wasn't the busiest of performers but in a week where so many games fell victim to the weather, Bain's stop from Scott Wright in Celtic's 1-0 win at Dundee stood out.

RB - Aaron McGowan (Hamilton Accies)
Speaking of standing out, McGowan's excellent, looping back-post volley proved to be the difference as Hamilton defeated Hearts 1-0 on Saturday.

CB - Craig Halkett (Livingston)
The Livingston captain once again excelled as the Lions went to Pittodrie and left with a point after Craig Sibbald cancelled out Niall McGinn's opener in the 1-1 draw against Aberdeen.

CB - Jack McMillan (Partick Thistle)
McMillan was impressive as Thistle and Falkirk shared the spoils - Falkirk fought back from a dominant early performance from the visitors to take a draw.

LB - Paul Dixon (Falkirk)
Only Dixon and centre-back William Edjenguele really stood out for the home side in Saturday's match. Dixon gets the nod for contributing in attack and defence.

MC - Stephane Omeonga (Hibernian)
The January loanee from Genoa ran the show in the midfield area as Hibs defeated Motherwell 2-0 to take a big step towards securing a top-six place.

MC - Gary Dicker (Kilmarnock)
Dicker was excellent at Ibrox as Steve Clarke's men extended the winless run of their hosts to four games with a 1-1 draw. Along with effectively protecting the back four, his range of passing was crucial in the match.

MC - John Rankin (Clyde)
Rankin’s stoppage-time goal put the cherry on top of Clyde’s 3-1 win over Stirling Albion as the promotion-chasing hosts finished the game strongly to earn a deserved win at Broadwood.

FC - David Galt (Queen’s Park)
This week's star man. Not only did Galt net a hat-trick in Queen's Park's 4-1 win over Elgin City, he scored all three goals in the space of five second-half minutes at Hampden!

FC - Dale Hilson (Forfar Athletic)
It's another spot in this team for the Forfar frontman as the Loons climbed back above visitors Raith Rovers in the Ladbrokes League 1 table with a 2-1 win. Hilson nabbed both goals at Station Park.

FC - Michael McKenna (Arbroath)
McKenna returned to the Arbroath starting XI and Dick Campbell's side got back to winning ways at the top of League 1. The forward scored in the 2-1 home win over fellow promotion chasers East Fife.
