Team of the Week

Craig Fowler selects his latest SPFL Team of the Week, with Celtic captain Scott Brown the star man

GK - Neil Parry (Alloa Athletic)
The Alloa keeper impressed as the Wasps gave their survival hopes a shot in the arm with a 1-0 win over Ladbrokes Championship leaders Ross County at the Indodrill Stadium.

DC - Michael Doyle (Queen of the South)
A commanding display from the centre-back helped Queen of the South to another shock in the second tier, winning 2-1 at Tannadice to end a run of seven straight defeats.

DC - Euan Murray (Raith Rovers)
Murray won more than his fair share of aerial battles as Raith Rovers came from a goal down in the dying minutes to win 2-1 at East Fife.

DC - Charles Dunne (Motherwell)
A solid display from the centre-back helped quash the threat of the St Johnstone attack as Motherwell ran out 3-0 winners at Fir Park.

MR - Rory McKenzie (Kilmarnock)
In a match where every Killie player shone, McKenzie stood out above them all. The midfielder was tremendous in his side's 5-0 victory over Hamilton Accies. Although he didn't get on the scoresheet himself, he did create the third goal for Youssouf Mulumbu.

MC - Stevie Mallan (Hibernian)
The Hibs midfielder took his tally to 13 goals for the season with an excellent touch, run and finish to cement his side's victory away to Livingston on Friday night.

MC - Scott Brown (Celtic)
Celtic won the third Old Firm encounter of the season with a vintage performance from their captain. Brown patrolled the midfield area as the home side won 2-1 thanks to James Forrest's late strike. He is this week's star man.

MC - Ryan Flynn (St Mirren)
An energetic and dynamic performance from Flynn helped St Mirren come from behind to defeat Dundee 2-1 and earn a huge three points in the Ladbrokes Premiership relegation battle.

ML - Lewis Moore (Forfar Athletic)
Moore impressed down the flank and fired in a late winner as Forfar took bragging rights from the Angus derby clash in League 1 with a 2-1 win over leaders Arbroath. On Monday night the on-loan Hearts man scored in the Reserve Cup final win over Motherwell.

FC - Uche Ikpeazu (Hearts)
The Hearts striker gets a place in this team for dominating the Aberdeen defence and scoring the winner in his side's 2-1 come-from-behind victory at Tynecastle

FC - Kris Doolan (Partick Thistle)
Two goals from the striker helped Thistle to a vital three points on Saturday as Gary Caldwell’s men went to Morton and won 3-0. The Jags now occupy eighth place as the bottom of the Ladbrokes Championship continues to move and shake on a weekly basis.
