Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from The Terrace TV selects his SPFL Team of the Week, with Alloa Athletic midfielder Kevin Cawley the star man...

GK - Robbie Thomson (Raith Rovers)
Raith kept their lead at the top of Ladbrokes League 1 thanks, in large part, to a terrific late save from their goalkeeper to deny Clyde a point at Stark’s Park.

DF - Jamie McCart (St Johnstone)
St Johnstone may have conceded twice against Rangers but the centre-backs still deserve credit for their performance, particularly McCart. He helped keep Alfredo Morelos in check and wasn't at fault for either of Rangers' goals.

DF - Mark Connolly (Dundee United)
Connolly was a colossus on Friday night as Dundee United returned to winning ways, beating Inverness CT 2-1 in a first v second clash in the Ladbrokes Championship. The victory extended United's lead at the top to 21 points.

DF - Jordon Forster (Dundee)
The defender scored the only goal and put in a commanding performance as Dundee climbed to third in the Ladbrokes Championship with a 1-0 win at Queen of the South.

DF - Josh Kerr (Airdrieonians)
Ian Murray's men have only conceded once in their last five games and continued their impressive defensive record with a 2-0 win away at Peterhead. Kerr was the pick of the defence.

MC - Kevin Cawley (Alloa Athletic)
Cawley scored a superb goal and had a hand in two others as Alloa Athletic took a 2-1 lead, fell behind 4-2 before the break but came roaring back with two goals in the last five minutes to take a point at Greenock Morton. He is this week's star man.

MC - Callum McGregor (Celtic)
McGregor was superb as the deepest man in Celtic's midfield, making Neil Lennon's men tick as they battled back from a goal down to defeat 10-man Kilmarnock 3-1.

MC - Craig Sibbald (Livingston)
The former Falkirk midfielder was the pick of the bunch as Livingston went to Easter Road and eventually left with a deserved 1-1 draw after a spirited second-half showing.

FC - Florian Kamberi (Rangers)
He may only have played for 45 minutes, but you cannot underestimate the impact made by Florian Kamberi during Rangers' 2-2 draw with St Johnstone. The striker scored a superb equaliser before setting up Joe Aribo on a plate to grab the second.

FC - Billy Mckay (Ross County)
The forward netted twice as Ross County claimed the upset of the weekend in the Ladbrokes Premiership, coming from behind to defeat 10-man Aberdeen 2-1 at Pittodrie.

FC - Anton Dowds (East Fife)
Dowds led the line terrifically - and scored the opening goal - as East Fife bounced back to winning ways following the midweek defeat to Falkirk with a convincing 4-2 win over Stranraer.
