GK - Benjamin Siegrist (Dundee United)
The keeper made several strong stops and was incredibly unfortunate to end Saturday on the losing side as United went down 1-0 to reigning champions Celtic.
DR - Danny McNamara (St Johnstone)
Another unlucky loser from this past weekend, McNamara was the stand-out attacking player in St Johnstone's game with Hibs. It wasn't enough for the hosts, though, who went down to a last-minute Stevie Mallan penalty.
DC - Hakeem Odoffin (Hamilton Accies)
A very impressive defensive performance was topped by the former Livingston man netting the winning goal as Accies earned bragging rights in the Lanarkshire derby following a 1-0 triumph at Fir Park. He is this week's star man.
DC - Ryan Porteous (Hibernian)
Hibs managed to find victory despite a sub-par performance in Sunday's live match. A big reason for that was their defensive showing with Porteous, in particular, impressing at the back. They were also thankful for the young defender for winning the penalty from which Mallan scored.
DC - Richard Tait (St Mirren)
St Mirren helped deny themselves victory at the weekend as Joe Shaughnessy's red card came at an inopportune time with them leading County 1-0. Though his side would eventually share the spoils, Tait continued his strong start to the campaign with another fine showing.
DL - Borna Barisic (Rangers)
Barisic continues to rack up assists and, on a weekend where the Colombian sat out, is now challenging Alfredo Morelos as Rangers' most important player. He created the opener for Kemar Roofe and impressed throughout the 2-0 win over Kilmarnock.
MR - Michael Gardyne (Ross County)
The veteran helped County to come from behind to earn a point at St Mirren over the weekend with another tireless shift on the wing for Stuart Kettlewell's men. It was his shot that went in off Nathan Sheron for the equaliser.
MC - Lewis Ferguson (Aberdeen)
Ferguson's opening goal, via the penalty spot, was massively important for Aberdeen as they overcame a poor first-half display to defeat Livingston 2-1 at Pittodrie.
MC - Olivier Ntcham (Celtic)
It wasn't a great showing from the Scottish champions on their return to Premiership action but they were able to get the victory through a late goal from Albian Ajeti. The substitute doesn't make this team but Ntcham, clearly Celtic's most impressive player across the match, does.
ML - Ryan Kent (Rangers)
Kent was a real attacking force, including scoring the second goal, as Rangers kept their place at the top of the Premiership table with a win over Kilmarnock.
FC - Jonathan Obika (St Mirren)
The St Mirren striker again finds himself in the Team of the Week after continuing his scoring touch with the opening goal in St Mirren's 1-1 draw with Ross County.
