GK - Brian Schwake (Edinburgh City)
The on-loan Livingston goalkeeper was a confident presence between the sticks even before he pulled off a match-winning penalty save in the second half of City's 1-0 victory over Stenhousemuir in cinch League 2 on Friday night.
DEF - Mackenzie Lemon (Falkirk)
An excellent league debut from the ex-Dundee United defender helped Falkirk earn a 2-1 win at Airdrie despite Steven Hetherington's red card towards the end of the first half.
DEF - Steven Swinglehurst (Annan Athletic)
A typically commanding performance from the centre-back helped Annan to a comfortable 3-1 win over Stirling Albion at Galabank.
DEF - Christophe Berra (Raith Rovers)
Rovers came roaring back from a 1-0 deficit to produce the shock of the round in the Premier Sports Cup, defeating Stephen Glass' in-form Aberdeen side 2-1 at Stark’s Park. The former Scotland centre-back rolled back the years with a dominant display.
MID - Paul McMullan (Dundee)
Both McMullan and fellow winger Luke McCowan stood out for Dundee as they beat Motherwell 1-0 in the Premier Sports Cup, advancing to the quarter-finals thanks to Lee Ashcroft's late goal.
MID - Jake Doyle-Hayes (Hibernian)
The summer signing from St Mirren once again impressed for Jack Ross' men as they were able to fight off a spirited Kilmarnock at Easter Road to reach the last eight of the Premier Sports Cup.
MID - Tom Rogic (Celtic)
A few Celtic players were in contention for a spot as Ange Postecoglou's men blew away Hearts in the first half and should have won much more comfortably than the 3-2 scoreline suggests. However, we've gone for the Australian who seems to be experiencing a new lease of life under his fellow countryman. His quick feet were too much for Hearts' defenders to handle.
MID - Calvin Bassey (Rangers)
Rangers ended a three-game losing run with a devastating first-half performance against Dunfermline Athletic in the cup at Ibrox. The hosts were 4-0 up before the break en route to a 5-0 triumph. Bassey was the undoubted star man as his charging runs caused the visitors all sorts of problems.
FWD - Mitch Megginson (Cove Rangers)
Cove looked a little unconvincing in their first two games but were in dominant form on Saturday, dispatching East Fife with a 5-2 victory at Balmoral Stadium. Megginson helped himself to a hat-trick and, for that, he is this week's star man.
FWD - David Goodwillie (Clyde)
The striker scored twice, including a late winner, as Clyde overcame Alloa Athletic 2-1 at Broadwood. The visitors might have fancied themselves the side likelier to grab the winner as the second half ticked on but Goodwillie was able to produce a piece of magic to earn the three points.
FWD - Kane Hester (Elgin City)
The second hat-trick scorer to be included in this week's team, Hester netted his third within a minute of the second half starting as the home side comfortably overcame Albion Rovers.
