GK - Jude Smith (East Fife)
Although his team were defeated 1-0 by table-topping Airdrieonians in Methil, the 18-year-old goalkeeper had an outstanding match between the sticks, making several impressive saves and keeping his side in the contest until the end.
DC - Lee Hodson (Kilmarnock)
Chris Burke was probably the stand-out for Kilmarnock at the weekend but, with an array of quality options for our wing positions this week, we've opted instead for Killie's other stand-out from the 2-0 win over Morton. Hodson dovetailed brilliantly with Burke and excelled in his defensive duties.
DC - Nicky Jamieson (Stenhousemuir)
The centre-back was a rock at the back as Stenny continued their recent good form, disposing of Annan Athletic 2-0 in cinch League 2 and moving themselves into fifth place, one point off Saturday's opponents in the play-off race.
DC - Sean Fagan (Albion Rovers)
Sticking in League 2, Albion Rovers moved to within three points of the top four with a 1-0 victory over Stirling Albion. Twenty-one-year-old Fagan impressed at the back as the hosts had to survive 18 minutes late in the match with a one-man disadvantage before another red card evened things up.
MR - John Robertson (Edinburgh City)
This week's star man comes from the match on Friday evening at Ainslie Park. The forward started on the right flank for Gary Naysmith's side and proved to be the real difference maker in the hard-fought 3-1 win over Stranraer. Robertson scored the first two, including a belting finish for the opener, before laying on for James Hilton to seal the win in injury-time.
MC - Aidan Nesbitt (Falkirk)
Falkirk are still looking for the turning point to their campaign and they'll hope they found it on Saturday with a comprehensive 3-0 victory away to Dumbarton. Nesbitt scored the second goal and was the man of the match in a big win for Paul Sheerin's side.
MC - Rory MacEwan (Elgin City)
MacEwan's industry in the centre of the park was a key factor in the Black and Whites earning themselves a hugely important 1-0 win over bottom-placed Cowdenbeath, a result which gives the Moray club a six-point advantage over their visitors at the foot of cinch League 2.
MC - Ethan Ross (Raith Rovers)
For the second time this season, Raith Rovers went three goals up on Hamilton Accies. This time, however, they didn't throw away the advantage, keeping their 3-0 half-time lead for the duration of the contest at New Douglas Park. Ross was the hero of the day, netting twice for the visitors.
ML - Dom Thomas (Dunfermline Athletic)
Dunfermline have their first victory of the cinch Championship season. Watched by new manager John Hughes from the stands, the Pars came back against promotion-chasing Inverness CT, scoring twice in the second period. Thomas sparkled and netted the winner with a superb strike.
FC - Brian Graham (Partick Thistle)
At the age of 33, Graham continues to be particularly adept at putting the ball in the net and proved it again with a double in Partick Thistle's thumping 4-0 win away at Ayr United.
FC - Mitch Megginson (Cove Rangers)
Another double from a striker known to be rather good at this goalscoring lark, Megginson struck twice for Cove Rangers as they saw off Peterhead 3-0 to stay a point behind Airdrieonians at the top of cinch League 1.
