Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View From the Terrace names his Team of the Week, with Celtic midfielder Reo Hatate the star man

GK - Neil Parry (Clyde)
Peterhead tested the Clyde goalkeeper a number of times, forcing him into one excellent save and a couple of other strong repels, before finally breaking through in the 91st minute in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Balmoor.

DEF - Michael Ledger (Morton)
Gavin Reilly netted twice, but we've instead opted for an equally impressive performance from the Morton centre-back in the 2-0 win at Ayr United, as Dougie Imrie kept up his excellent record since becoming 'Ton boss.

DEF - Sam Denham (Cowdenbeath)
Despite a nine-point deficit at the bottom of League 2, Cowdenbeath showed they won't go without a fight with a surprise 2-0 win at Stenhousemuir. On-loan St Johnstone defender Denham, 19, impressed at the centre of the back three on his debut.

DEF - Sean Fagan (Albion Rovers)
Fagan played a major role in Rovers getting a point from their trip to Elgin on Saturday, scoring the equaliser and helping to hold the defence together after the sending off of *checks notes* a Mr A Trialist shortly into the second half as the visitors held on for a 1-1 draw.

MID - Jay Henderson (St Mirren)
The winger was electric in his side's 2-1 victory over Dundee United on Tuesday evening, ending an 11-game winless run. This also included a belting opening goal as he took aim and found the top corner from distance.

MID - Reo Hatate (Celtic)
What an introduction this was! This versatile Japanese ace showed outrageous vision and passing as he helped Celtic to a 2-0 win over Hibs, which ultimately cut the lead at the top of the cinch Premiership to four points. For his exploits on his debut, we've handed him this week's star man award.

MID - Scott Brown (Aberdeen)
Leaders Rangers dropped points on Tuesday evening with a 1-1 draw at Pittodrie. Scott Brown, often a formidable presence against the Light Blues in his days with Celtic, excelled in the match, covering so much ground and helping Aberdeen to gain a foothold in the midfield battle.

MID - Nicky Low (Arbroath)
Arbroath showed they will not meekly surrender their place at the top of the Championship after last week's defeat at Ayr United, and the loss of Joel Nouble, going to Raith Rovers and fighting back from a goal down to win 2-1. Low netted the winner from the penalty spot and excelled throughout.

MID - Regan Charles-Cooke (Ross County)
Charles-Cooke was responsible for all three goals in County's impressive 3-1 triumph over Motherwell on Tuesday. He forced an own goal from Sondre Johansen then, with his team down to 10 men, put them back in front before making sure of the points from the penalty spot.

FWD - Barrie McKay (Heart of Midlothian)
It may have been Josh Ginnelly grabbing the goals but it was Barrie McKay who was the true star of the show as Hearts made it an eight-point gap in third place with a 2-0 win over St Johnstone. A couple of excellent passes from the attacker, who played in the false nine role for much of the second half, was the ultimate difference between the sides.

FWD - Bruce Anderson (Livingston)
Livingston moved seven points away from the cinch Premiership relegation spots with a 2-0 win over fellow battlers Dundee. They had Bruce Anderson to thank for the result as the forward notched his eighth and ninth goals of the season in the win.
