Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View From the Terrace names his SPFL Team of the Week, with Harry Milne of Cove Rangers the star man

GK - Daniel Hoban (Elgin City)
The 23-year-old shot-stopper had a solid game to help the Black and Whites to a clean sheet and make it four points from two games, following recent struggles, with a 0-0 draw at Forfar Athletic.

DR - Max Johnston (Queen of the South)
The right-back netted the opener and was man of the match as Willie Gibson’s side saw off Morton 3-0 at Palmerston to move off the bottom of the cinch Championship table.

DC - Jack Sanders (Kilmarnock)
Kilmarnock kept up the pressure on leaders Arbroath with a 2-0 victory over Hamilton Accies. Sanders, a summer signing from Wigan, impressed at the back on his eight league appearance.

DC - Jack Baldwin (Ross County)
The County defender was in excellent form as the Staggies notched their third straight win and second consecutive clean sheet (both firsts for the campaign) with a 1-0  victory over St Mirren to move into the top six.

DC - Kevin Holt (Partick Thistle)
Holt netted the game's only goal and impressed in the centre of defence as the Jags defeated Inverness CT on Friday night to move above their visitors into third place in the Championship table.

LB - Harry Milne (Cove Rangers)
What a performance the left wing-back enjoyed in Cove's 5-2 thumping of Peterhead to remain five points clear at the top of cinch League 1. Milne was a menace down the left and netted two goals in the win. He is this week's star man.

MC - Tom Rogic (Celtic)
The Australian played a key creative role in the centre of the park as Celtic ended their Tony Macaroni hoodoo with a 3-1 victory over Livingston on Sunday, which kept them top of the cinch Premiership table.

MC - Glen Kamara (Rangers)
Rangers remain on the heels of their arch rivals after being tested by Aberdeen at Ibrox but ultimately finding a late goal through Kemar Roofe. Kamara played a crucial part in the winner and was a driving force throughout the second half.

MC - Liam Smith (Dundee United)
The full-back impressed in the unfamiliar position against his former club in United's 2-2 draw with Hearts at Tannadice. Smith scored a belting equaliser just a short period into the second half and was a workhorse in the centre of midfield.

FC - Tomi Adeloye (Ayr United)
The striker scored once and played a role in all four goals as Ayr United posted the most eye-catching result of the lower-league weekend as they went to promotion hopefuls Raith Rovers and hammered them 4-0.

FC - Callum Smith (Airdrieonians)
The striker scored the only two goals of the game as Airdrieonians kept pace with Cove at the top of cinch League 1 with a victory away to Alloa Athletic.
