Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View From the Terrace names his SPFL Team of the Week, with Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis the star man...

GK - Daniel Hoban (Elgin City)
The Black & Whites earned a 0-0 draw with champions-elect Kelty Hearts despite having Rabin Omar sent off after 57 minutes. Hoban was a big reason why the 10 men were able to hold on for a point with a couple of big saves.

DEF - Nathaniel Atkinson (Heart of Midlothian)
The Australian full-back celebrated his international call-up by notching two assists in Hearts' 2-0 victory over Livingston at Tynecastle.

DEF - Connor Goldson (Rangers)
Rangers left it late to keep close to Celtic at the top of the cinch Premiership but finally managed to overturn their early 1-0 deficit at Dundee, with Aaron Ramsey equalising before Goldson won it.

DEF - Ricky Little (Arbroath)
A typically sure-footed and dominant performance from the lower-league stalwart helped Arbroath get back to winning ways and remain two points behind Kilmarnock at the summit of the cinch Championship with a 1-0 win over Ayr United.

DEF - Sean Burns (Stranraer)
The left-back scored for the second game in succession and put in a great shift down the flank as the Blues went to managerless Edinburgh City on Friday night and emerged with a 2-1 win.

MID - Jaze Kabia (Falkirk)
Falkirk moved back to within three points of a play-off place in cinch League 1 with a 2-0 win at Dumbarton. Kabia scored the first and assisted Charlie Telfer for the other.

MID - Connor Barron (Aberdeen)
The youngster was a stand-out as Jim Goodwin got his first win as Aberdeen boss with a 3-1 victory over Hibs at Pittodrie. Barron played a key role in the build-up to the first two goals, firing the shot which led to their first penalty then whipping in the cross which would see Ross McCrorie fouled by Ryan Porteous for their second spot-kick.

MID - Owen Moxon (Annan Athletic)
The midfielder impressed to help make it another successful Saturday for the Galabankies as they defeated Stirling Albion 3-0 away from home to make it four League 2 triumphs in succession.

MID - Ilmari Niskanen (Dundee United)
The Finnish winger put in a tremendous second-half shift as United battled back from a 1-0 half-time deficit to defeat St Mirren 2-1 in Paisley. The result moves Tam Courts' men back into fourth place.

FWD - Giorgos Giakoumakis (Celtic)
This week's star man comes from Celtic Park and a 4-0 victory for Ange Postecoglou's side against an in-form Ross County. Giakoumakis scored a hat-trick and inadvertently set up the other when his attempt on goal was diverted into the net by Daizen Maeda.

FWD - Callum Hendry (St Johnstone)
Saints have a four-point cushion over bottom club Dundee following Saturday's 2-1 win over Motherwell. Hendry was the hero, scoring both goals including a stunning winner in injury time.
