Team of the Week

A View from the Terrace's Craig Fowler names his William Hill SPFL XI...

GK - Kevin Dabrowski (Raith Rovers)

It's taken just a couple of weeks, but the darling of last season's Team of the Week between the sticks is back once again. The Raith Rovers stopper was crucial in his side's 1-0 victory over Partick Thistle at the weekend.

DEF - Keelan Adams (Falkirk)

Signed from Cumbernauld Colts earlier this year, Adams has impressed at right-back since joining in the summer and put in another strong performance in Falkirk's 2-0 victory away at rivals Dunfermline Athletic.

DEF - Jack Brydon (Queen of the South)

Queens got their first league victory under Peter Murphy with a 2-1 win over Cove Rangers at Palmerston. The result proved to be a step in the right direction with Brydon impressing at the back.

DEF - Tam O’Ware (Kelty Hearts)

The veteran defender strolled through the game as Kelty got themselves their first victory of the William Hill League 1 season with a 2-0 triumph over Stenhousemuir.

MID - Jay Henderson (Ayr United)

Two goals and an electric performance from their winger helped Ayr United to a crushing victory over Airdrieonians on Friday night, running out 5-0 winners in front of the BBC Scotland cameras.

MID - Callum McGregor (Celtic)

Celtic remain top of the William Hill Premiership after a routine 2-0 win at Hibs on Sunday afternoon. At the end of a week where he announced his retirement from international football, McGregor netted the second and was the clear Man of the Match for his side.

MID - Graeme Shinnie (Aberdeen)

The Dons made it two wins from two to begin the William Hill Premiership season, seeing off a challenge from St Mirren to win 3-1 on Sunday. Shinnie was the best player on the park, including a terrific ball for Vicente Besuijen to wrap up the win.

MID - Scott Tiffoney (Dundee)

The winger gave visitors Hearts a torrid time at Dens Park on Saturday evening, particularly in the second half where he scored one and won the penalty for Luke McCowan to put the hosts into a commanding 3-0 advantage en route to a 3-1 win.

FWD - Adama Sidibeh (St Johnstone)

St. Johnstone secured their biggest away league victory in over three years as they went to Rugby Park and ran out 3-0 winners against ten-man Kilmarnock. Sidibeh was in terrific form with a first-half double and gave the home defence the runaround. He is this week's Star Man.

FWD - Michael Ruth (Dumbarton)

Dumbarton were denied the three points in an entertaining 3-3 draw with Alloa Athletic but it wasn't for a want of trying by leading striker, Michael Ruth. He netted twice during the game to put the Sons 1-0 and 3-2 ahead but a late Scott Taggart equaliser capped off a six-goal thriller.

FWD - Blair Henderson (Spartans)

Spartans won 2-0 against local rivals Bonnyrigg Rose at Ainslie Park with Blair Henderson nabbing both goals. The experienced forward opened his league account for the season after two goals in the Premier Sports Cup group stages.
