GK – Jack Walton (Dundee United)
This week's Star Man is United's number 1, who made eight saves in his team's 1-1 draw against Rangers at Ibrox. The on-loan Luton Town shot stopper pulled off a sensational double save late in the game to keep the home side at bay.
DEF – Josh Mulligan (Dundee)
The Dundee ace was outstanding at right wing-back as Tony Docherty's team came from a goal down to defeat ten-man Hibs 4-1 in the William Hill Premiership. He constantly charged forward to support the attack as Dundee took full advantage of an early red card to Jordan Obita.
DEF – Mikey Devlin (Ayr United)
Ayr were thankful to their defence for helping them get the better of Dunfermline Athletic in one of only three lower-league games to survive the weather conditions. Devlin was the leader of the defensive unit, keeping a cool head at centre-back.
DEF – Richard Taylor (St Mirren)
The centre-back put in an excellent performance and netted the winning goal as St Mirren handed Aberdeen their first William Hill Premiership defeat of the campaign with a 2-1 win at the SMiSA Stadium.
DEF – James Penrice (Hearts)
He may not have been on the winning side but Penrice still earned plaudits for his display, particularly in the first half as the Jambos took on league leaders Celtic.
MID – Vaclav Černý (Rangers)
Černý scored his fifth league goal of the season as Rangers drew 1-1 with Dundee United. The Czech winger was the home side's most threatening attacker throughout the game.
MID – Michael Gardyne (Montrose)
The only game in William Hill League 1 saw Montrose defeat Annan Athletic 2-1 with Gardyne appearing everywhere in the centre of the park to control the game for the hosts.
MID – Reo Hatate (Celtic)
The Celtic midfielder was influential in the middle of the field as Brendan Rodgers' side overcame some first-half scares to ultimately defeat Hearts at Tynecastle.
MID – Josh Nisbet (Ross County)
The diminutive Aussie put in a man-of-the-match performance and got himself on the scoresheet as Ross County got themselves a big victory on Saturday, defeating Motherwell 2-1 to give themselves some breathing room in the top flight table.
MID – Ethan Ross (Falkirk)
He may have passed up some big chances in front of goal, but Ross was still brilliant as Falkirk dominated Queen's Park with a 1-0 win in the William Hill Championship. The winger was a constant threat to the hosts, running himself into the ground.
FWD – Makenzie Kirk (St Johnstone)
The young striker was trusted to start Saturday's match between St Johnstone and Kilmarnock at McDiarmid Park and repaid the faith shown in him by manager Simo Valakari. Kirk put in a terrific shift and got the game's only goal.
