Celtic may have won 3-0 against Hibs in the William Hill Premiership this past weekend but the home goalkeeper was called upon throughout the match to help the reigning champions over the line.
DEF – Jack Sanders (St Johnstone)
Saints earned themselves an impressive point away to Aberdeen thanks to a solid performance from their defensive players. Sanders has excelled throughout this term since arriving from Kilmarnock in the summer.
DEF – Andy Munro (East Fife)
The Fifers went back to the top of William Hill League Two thanks to an 97th-minute winner against title rivals Elgin City. Munro put in a robust shift at the back for the hosts in the 2-1 victory.
DEF – Edin Lynch (Edinburgh City)
The former Stenhousemuir stopper was named as captain for Edinburgh City's trip to Stirling Albion, where they recorded an eye-catching 3-0 victory to move into the play-off places. Lynch didn't put a foot wrong during the contest.
MID – Alfredo Agyeman (Falkirk)
Falkirk increased their lead over Livingston to eight points at the top of the William Hill Championship after a 3-0 win over Raith Rovers. Agyeman scored twice and was full of hard running down the right.
MID – Stuart Bannigan (Partick Thistle)
Thistle kept up their impressive recent form in the second tier with a 1-0 victory over Ayr United. Bannigan stood out for his industrious play and for helping to set the tempo for Kris Doolan's side.
MID – Paul Allan (Inverness CT)
The most impressive comeback of the weekend took place at Montrose where Inverness battled back from 2-0 down to take all three points from their trip to Links Park. Allan netted both the equaliser and the winner (coming in the 88th and 94th minute respectively) to get the away side another vital result in their battle against relegation.
MID – Tony Watt (Motherwell)
Returning to the starting XI for the Steelmen, Watt put in a man-of-the-match performance before getting the rewards deep into stoppage time with the only goal of the game as Stuart Kettlewell's side defeated St Mirren 1-0 away from home.
FWD – Matty Yates (Stenhousemuir)
This week's Star Man comes from William Hill League 1 where Stenhousemuir kept their place at the top of the table after a 4-0 thrashing of Dumbarton at Ochilview. Yates netted a hat-trick and impressed with his overall quality on the ball.
FWD – Lawrence Shankland (Hearts)
After 12 games without a goal, last season's William Hill Premiership top scorer netted twice to earn Hearts a crucial three points as they lifted themselves off the bottom with a 2-0 triumph over Dundee.
FWD – Hamza Igamane (Rangers)
Rangers head into a big week with a stride in their step with comfortable back-to-back victories on league business completed with goals from their young striker from Morocco. Hamza Igamane put in another impressive showing to give the County backline a torrid time as Philippe Clement's side ran out 3-0 winners in the Highlands.
