GK – Jack Butland (Rangers)
Rangers were able to escape Tynecastle Park with a 3-1 victory on Sunday thanks to two things: the bad luck of Jamie McCart who scored two own goals, and Butland's heroics. Time and again the stopper repelled Hearts' advances, including an excellent low fingertip stop from Elton Kabangu with the game still in the balance.
DEF – Kieran Freeman (Montrose)
Freeman was one of several Montrose players who impressed on Saturday as the club got themselves a huge three points in the William Hill League One relegation battle, beating Dumbarton 3-2 away from home.
DEF – Mats Knoester (Aberdeen)
Aberdeen finally got back to winning ways in the William Hill Premiership after a 14-match run without a victory, defeating Dundee 2-1 at Dens Park. The away defence put in a good performance as Knoester, a January signing from Ferencvaros, excelled on his league debut.
DEF – Erik Sula (Stirling Albion)
Stirling were able to come from a goal down to defeat Forfar Athletic 3-1 to feel a lot better about their prospects going forward in William Hill League Two. Sula was a 30th minute substitute but, after a quick goal was lost, really settled the defensive unit for the hosts, who won 3-1.
DEF – Jeffrey Schlupp (Celtic)
Starting his first match in the league, Schlupp put in a fine performance both defensively and in attack as Celtic made easy work of Dundee United with a 3-0 victory in Glasgow.
MID – Findlay Marshall (Cove Rangers)
Two goals from the midfielder helped Cove Rangers to keep up their recent form with a 3-1 victory over Annan Athletic in Aberdeen. Paul Hartley's side moved into second place in League One thanks to the three points.
MID – Finlay Pollock (Raith Rovers)
A side who have been looking down rather than up over recent months now has real reason for optimism after Saturday's 3-0 win over Partick Thistle put them six points behind the Jags (with two games in hand) in the hunt for the final play-off spot in the William Hill Championship. Pollock netted twice in the victory.
MID – Scott Robinson (Hamilton Accies)
Robinson joined as part of the deal which saw Scott Martin move to Partick Thistle and demonstrated his quality to Accies fans by scoring the opener and putting in a man-of-the-match performance as John Rankin's side moved out of the relegation spots with a 2-1 win at Queen's Park.
MID – Fraser Murray (Kilmarnock)
Bobby Wales may have grabbed the headlines with a terrific third goal, but Killie's best player during their 3-1 victory over St Johnstone was Murray, who is in sparkling form at the moment. He also scored an excellent free-kick.
FW – Ronan Hale (Ross County)
Two goals from the striker and a tireless display at the tip of the attack helped Ross County to move out of the relegation spots in the Premiership with a thumping 3-0 victory at free-falling Motherwell.
FW – Ouzy See (Edinburgh City)
The most impressive performance of the weekend had to be Edinburgh City's thumping 5-0 victory over local rivals Spartans in League Two. See put in some terrific hold-up play in addition to his two goals and an assist as Michael McIndoe's side ran riot. He is this week's Star Man!
