The young custodian got his second clean sheet of the season, which he ensured with a couple of smart stops, as Motherwell got their first victory in the William Hill Premiership, beating Aberdeen 2-0 at Fir Park.
DEF – James Tavernier (Rangers)
Tavernier got the scoring started at Livingston with an excellent volley and, although he would soon miss a penalty, his driving forward from deep was a big reason in Rangers managing to get over the line with a 2-1 victory; their first win of the league campaign.
DEF – Paul Hanlon (Raith Rovers)
The veteran defender broke the deadlock and strolled it in defence and Raith Rovers remained in second place in the William Hill Championship with a 3-0 victory over Arbroath.
DEF – Kerr Waddell (Montrose)
The defender was named Montrose's man-of-the-match after the Gable Endies made it three victories in a four-game unbeaten run, which takes them up to fifth, with a 2-1 victory over Queen of the South at Links Park.
DEF – Dominic Thompson (Kilmarnock)
Killie were another side to get their first win of the Premiership season, winning 2-0 at Tannadice. Thompson impressed with his defensive play and energy up and down the park from left wing-back to support the attack.
MID – Oisin Smyth (Partick Thistle)
It's four league wins on the bounce for Thistle after a 2-0 victory at Dunfermline Athletic, a result which takes them up to third place. Smyth, on loan from St Mirren, impressed in the centre of the park with his quick, instinctual passing.
MID – Mark McKenzie (Ayr United)
The midfielder scored twice as Ayr United's recovery continued with a second consecutive victory, this time defeating Airdrieonians 4-2 at Somerset Park, with all four goals coming in the first half.
MID – David Wotherspoon (Inverness CT)
The undoubted best player on the park and scorer of two goals, Wotherspoon was instrumental in Caley Thistle's 4-1 triumph over East Fife, a result which takes the club to the top of the William Hill League 1 table after five consecutive victories. For his classy performance, Wotherspoon is this week's Star Man.
FWD – Alexandros Kyziridis (Heart of Midlothian)
Scorer of an incredible opener and tormenter of the Falkirk defence, including also claiming an assist, Kyziridis played a significant part in Hearts moving to the top of the William Hill Premiership table following a comfortable 3-0 victory over Falkirk.
FWD – Marc McNulty (The Spartans)
McNulty got off the mark in his second spell back at The Spartans, scoring twice as Dougie Samuel's side immediately got back to winning ways and stretched their lead at the top of the William Hill League 2 table to four points with a 3-2 win at Elgin City.

A two-goal performance from the in-form winger helped Clyde to victory as Darren Young's side made it three consecutive league wins (and six games unbeaten in all competitions) with an impressive 4-2 triumph at Stirling Albion.
