GK – Jamie Sneddon (Queen of the South)
Nicky Clark scored twice and Kai Kennedy got two assists but it was the performance of their goalkeeper which impressed Queens fans the most as they leapt above Alloa Athletic into third place in William Hill League 1 on the final weekend, winning 4-1.
DEF – Michael Steinwender (Hearts)
The Austrian put in a colossal performance as Hearts came from behind to defeat Rangers 2-1 at Tynecastle, a result which keeps them three points clear at the top of the William Hill Premiership by three points with three games remaining.
DEF – Remi Savage (Inverness CT)
Savage was the most impressive player among the home ranks as Inverness CT survived a late rally from Hamilton Academical to win 2-1 and wrap up the William Hill League 1 crown.
DEF – Iain Wilson (Greenock Morton)
Morton will be a William Hill Championship club again next season after getting the 1-1 draw they needed to secure safety against Airdrieonians. Wilson put in a good shift in an unfamiliar role at centre-back.
MID – Alistair Johnston (Celtic)
Johnston made his long-awaited return from injury and immediately made Celtic a stronger proposition down their right-hand side, notching an assist as the Hoops kept the pressure on Hearts at the top of the table.
MID – Paul Nsio (Raith Rovers)
The best player on the park as Raith Rovers ended Ross County's hopes of survival as the Staggies felt the sting of relegation to the third tier following this 3-2 loss at Stark's Park.
MID – Aaron Tshibola (Kilmarnock)
The January signing controlled the midfield area as Killie notched a very impressive 3-0 victory over Dundee United which sees them move above St Mirren into 10th place in the battle to avoid the play-offs.
MID – Yan Dhanda (Dundee)
Dhanda once again thrived in a deeper role as Dundee got themselves a huge win in their bid to avoid the drop, beating St Mirren 1-0 at Dens Park.
MID – Calvin Miller (Falkirk)
Miller was a constant menace for the Bairns as they defeated Motherwell for the third time this season, winning 1-0 at the Falkirk Stadium.
MID – Innes Lawson (Edinburgh City)
Edinburgh City may have found a bit of form at just the right time ahead of their SPFL play-off battle with Brora Rangers, beating Dumbarton 5-0 at Meadowbank. Lawson was back to his best for the hosts, scoring one and setting up another.
FW – Connor Young (East Kilbride)
This week's Star Man comes from the William Hill League 2 champions after Young scored twice and set up another in EK's 5-0 title-clinching victory over Clyde.
