Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View from the Terrace names his SPFL XI...

GK – Kieran O’Hara (Dundee)

Dundee stuck three goals past Livingston without reply to confirm their William Hill Premiership status, but fans were most impressed with the goalkeeper's performance, which included saving a second-half Robbie Muirhead penalty. O'Hara recently earned a new contract until 2028.

DEF – Stephen O’Donnell (Motherwell)

The full-back was the stand-out player as Motherwell held William Hill Premiership leaders Hearts in a 1-1 draw at Fir Park. This included a terrific early block which stopped Lawrence Shankland from opening the scoring.

DEF – Craig Howie (Clyde)

Howie was Clyde's man-of-the-match once again as the Bully Wee booked their place in the William Hill League One play-off final, drawing 1-1 with The Spartans to cement their 2-0 advantage from the first leg.

DEF – John Tod (Dunfermline Athletic)

The youngster impressed at the centre of the back three as the Pars withheld Arbroath's pressure to advance to the William Hill Premiership play-off semi-finals following Friday's 0-0 draw at Gayfield.

DEF – Jordan Obita (Hibs)

Hibs are still in the battle for fourth place after defeating Falkirk 3-1 at the weekend. Obita, starting at wing-back, created the first goal and scored the third.

MID – Findlay Curtis (Kilmarnock)

Two goals from the on-loan Rangers youngster helped Killie to a massive result in their hopes of avoiding the William Hill Premiership play-offs. They defeated St Mirren 3-0 away from home to hold a four-point advantage with two games to play.

MID – Calum Adamson (Alloa Athletic)

Adamson was superb as Alloa deservedly booked their place in the William Hill Championship play-off final, beating Airdrieonians 2-1 to follow up a 1-0 victory in the first leg last midweek.

MID – Olly Whyte (Stenhousemuir)

Whyte netted the decisive penalty, having already got on the scoresheet earlier in the match, and put in an all-round excellent display as Stenhousemuir managed to dig out a victory against Queen of the South. Gary Naysmith's men eventually won 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw (3-3 on aggregate).

FWD – Daizen Maeda (Celtic)

Maeda is this week's Star Man after his double helped Celtic move to within a point of the William Hill Premiership summit as Martin O'Neill's men fought back from behind to beat Rangers 3-1 at Celtic Park. The Japanese star's second goal was an outrageous overhead kick and he caused the visitors all sorts of problems with his pressing.

FWD – Toyosi Olusanya (Aberdeen)

Olusanya topped off a tenacious display with Aberdeen's second goal in their 2-0 victory over Dundee United at Pittodrie. The result confirmed Aberdeen's safety with two games to spare.

FWD – Oli Shaw (Hamilton Academical)

Shaw netted twice for Accies as they comfortably saw off Forfar Athletic, triumphing 2-1 and going through 5-2 on aggregate to face Clyde for a place in William Hill League 1 next season.
