Dumbarton re-name ground in tie up with sponsor

Dumbarton have renamed their Stadium in partnership with a sponsor for a second time with their ground, affectionately nicknamed as The Rock by their fans, now being known as ‘The Bet Butler Stadium.’

Bet Butler StadiumThe ground which opened in 2000 was originally called the Strathclyde Homes Stadium however that arrangement ended almost a year ago when the house builders were placed in receivership.

In February it was renamed as the Dumbarton Football Stadium sponsored by DL Cameron in memory of a Club Director who passed away, however the new name comes into place for the new season.

The deal with the concierge betting service also sees the Bet Butler logo remain on the front of Dumbarton's playing shirts next season with Sons boss Alan Adamson saying:, 'We are very grateful to Bet Butler for their continued support. We hope that The Bet Butler Stadium becomes a fortress for us as we look to build on our recent success of being promoted to the First Division.'
