Partick Thistle have completed the signing of 22 year old former Kilmarnock midfielder Iain Flannigan, who has impressed Maryhill boss Ian McCall during the Jags’ pre-season training. Flannigan impressed in games against Queen’s Park and Dumbarton recently and played on Tuesday night as a Thistle side, including Hearts defender Conrad Balatoni as a trialist, were defeated 3-2 defeat by Airdrie United.
McCall said, “I am delighted to bring Ian here as he can play in a number of midfield positions but he is probably best in a wide right position. He will give us great delivery at set pieces as the fans will see throughout the season.”
