Forfar completed the signing of three new players as they returned to pre-season with Stuart Malcolm coming on board from Arbroath, Gary Fusco joining from Brechin City and Paul McManus becoming a Loon at the second time of asking.
, who was the club skipper at Gayfield, is also signing on at Station Park for second time, with the six foot three inch central defender, who has played for ten clubs in Scotland, England and Ireland hoping for better luck this time as his last stint in light blue was marred by a groin injury.
The 33-year-old has signed for one season, as has midfielder Fusco, who joins after nearly 300 games with Cowdenbeath and the Glebe Park men with McManus coming on board 12 months after opting for a third spell with East Fife ahead of joining Dick Campbell’s side.
The 31-year-old front man, who has also donned the colours of Brechin City, Stranraer and Albion Rovers, had the chance for a further stint at New Bayview, however he has moved across the River Tay to join Forfar.
There was further good news for Campbell’s side as Keith Gibson took a full part in training after 9 months out following knee surgery with the Forfar boss saying: “With Keith involved again it feels like 4 new signings not 3. They are all players I know well and their arrival helped get pre-season training off to a flier.”
