Thursday preview

Big night of post-split games in League 1 and League 2, with all matches kicking off at 7.00pm

Scottish League 1
Partick Thistle have the chance to secure the title this evening when they play Falkirk at Firhill. The Jags have a four-point advantage at the top and a win over the third-placed Bairns would get Ian McCall’s men over the line. In the other top-five fixture, second-placed Cove Rangers host Montrose, who are five points outside the play-off places.

Bottom club Forfar Athletic are nine points adrift and must beat Clyde at Station Park to keep alive any hopes of avoiding relegation. East Fife take on Peterhead at Bayview, with the visitors six points clear of the danger zone.

Scottish League 2
Champions Queen's Park will be presented with the trophy after their game with second-placed Edinburgh City at the Falkirk Stadium. City still need points to secure a play-off place and there's a big game at Borough Briggs in the battle for a top-four finish as Elgin City host Stirling Albion.

In the lower half of the table, Brechin City face Annan Athletic at Glebe Park. City beat Cowdenbeath on Tuesday but are still eight points adrift at the bottom. Stenhousemuir take on Albion Rovers at Ochilview, with the visitors knowing a win would lift them above the Warriors.
