Forfar have rewarded three of their U19 squad with professional contracts for 2014/15 after they broke into manager Dick Campbell’s plans this season.

Paul McLellan, 18, has signed on after two substitute appearances this season, Craig Smith, 19, scored the winning penalty in a Scottish Cup shoot-out against Brechin with Liam Keiller, also 19, involved with the first team in Saturday’s 4-2 win over Ayr.

Campbell said: “I am pleased to bring the boys on board. I have watched them in training every week and have seen how they have conducted themselves around the first team. I am sure their step up will be a boost to other players in the club’s youth department.”
