Brechin City midfielder Alan Trouten has signed on again at Glebe Park for next season.
The former Queen's Park, Clyde, Airdrie and Ayr United player has been with the League 1 club since 2012 and has averaged a goal every two games.
Manager Ray McKinnon said: “I am delighted that Alan will be playing for Brechin City next season. Alan has had to battle injury this year but he has always fought his way back into the team and has been a model professional.
“He is one of the most skilful players in this league, who could easily play at a higher level, and we are very pleased he has extended his contract with us as we enter this vital stage of our season.”
