Dundee United, who are also five points off the summit host fourth-placed Inverness CT – with the teams also up against each other in the Scottish Cup quarter-final on Sunday. Fifth-placed Dunfermline Athletic are at home to bottom club Partick Thistle, with the teams separated by only six points. There is only goal difference between Morton and Queen of the South, who go head to head at Cappielow.

Leaders Arbroath put their unbeaten away record on the line at fourth-placed East Fife this evening, with the Red Lichties a massive 16 points clear of Raith Rovers and Forfar Athletic. Rovers are away to a Dumbarton side who have climbed to seventh after a four-match unbeaten run. There’s a big game at Stair Park where eighth-placed Stranraer play bottom club Stenhousemuir.

Peterhead will leapfrog Edinburgh City at the top of the table if they beat Cowdenbeath at Balmoor, with the Citizens currently a point in front. Third-placed Clyde are also in the title race and are unbeaten in 14 matches as they make the short journey to face Stirling Albion at Forthbank. Elgin City will move to within three points of the play-offs if they overcome Queen’s Park at Borough Briggs while struggling Berwick Rangers welcome in-form Annan Athletic to Shielfield.
