Paul McGinn grabbed a double as Hibernian twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with St Johnstone at Easter Road. Saints led through Ali McCann then David Wotherspoon but McGinn earned a point for Hibs as they climbed to third place in the Scottish Premiership table.
Heart of Midlothian moved to within a point of Scottish Championship leaders Dunfermline Athletic thanks to a 3-0 win over bottom club Alloa Athletic at Tynecastle. All the goals came in the first half through Michael Smith, Andy Halliday and Peter Haring.
Falkirk moved above Cove Rangers to the summit of the Scottish League 1 table by beating Dumbarton 3-0 at the C&G Systems Stadium. Callumn Morrison, Blair Alston and Aidan Connolly were all on target for the Bairns.
