A round-up of tonight's Scottish Championship matches

Hearts moved five points clear at the top of the Scottish Championship with a 3-1 win over Arbroath at Tynecastle. Steven Naismith hit a hat-trick in the space of six minutes in the first half before Kris Doolan pulled one back for the Red Lichties.

Second-placed Dunfermline Athletic drew 1-1 away to Inverness CT. The Pars went ahead through Kyle Turner but Miles Storey equalised for the hosts.

It was also 1-1 between Ayr United and Morton at Somerset Park. The visitors scored first through an Aidan Nesbitt penalty but Luke McCowan levelled things up.

Dundee are up to third place after hitting back to beat Alloa Athletic 3-1 at Dens Park, helped by a double from Osman Sow.

Queen of the South moved off the bottom of the table at the expense of Arbroath thanks to a 2-0 win at Raith Rovers. Connor Shields and Tommy Goss got their goals.
