In Scottish League 1, leaders Falkirk were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Dumbarton and Cove Rangers closed the gap to four points thanks to a 2-0 win over Airdrieonians at Balmoral Stadium. Montrose are in third place after their 3-0 success against East Fife at Links Park while Clyde were 2-0 winners against Peterhead at Balmoor. Partick Thistle were held to a 2-2 draw by bottom club Forfar Athletic at Firhill.
Queen's Park remain seven points clear in Scottish League 2 following their 3-0 win at Albion Rovers while second-placed Edinburgh City continued their good run by beating Cowdenbeath 3-1 at Central Park. Third-placed Stirling Albion defeated Stenhousemuir 1-0 at Forthbank while Elgin City hit back to beat bottom club Brechin City 2-1 at Glebe Park.
