Zak Rudden scored both goals as Partick Thistle defeated Clyde 2-0 at Firhill to close the gap on Scottish League 1 leaders Falkirk to four points. The Jags are third and Airdrieonians moved into the play-off places with a 3-1 home win over bottom club Forfar Athletic.
Queen's Park took another step towards the Scottish League 2 title with a 1-0 victory against Annan Athletic at their temporary home of the Falkirk Stadium. Second-placed Edinburgh City beat bottom club Brechin City 2-1 at Ainslie Park while Stranraer boosted their play-off prospects with a 1-0 success at Stirling Albion. Stenhousemuir defeated fourth-placed Elgin City 2-0 at Ochilview and it was 0-0 between Albion Rovers and Cowdenbeath at the Reigart Stadium.
