United snap up Graham

Dundee United have signed ex-Morton striker Brian Graham on a two-year deal from Raith Rovers.

Graham netted 27 times for the Fife club last season and will be joined at Tannadice by Partick Thistle duo Paul Paton and Chris Erskine, who signed pre-contract agreements with United.

Manager Jackie McNamara told the club website: "I am delighted to have got this done quickly and secured Brian. There were a few clubs interested and he has chosen us so that is very pleasing.

"He has scored a lot of goals last season and he is a good age (25) and has experience. He also has great hunger to succeed and I know he will enhance the squad."

Graham added: "There were a few clubs interested in securing my services but I feel that Jackie McNamara and Dundee United will be the best fit for my career at this time."
