Dundee United beat Cowdenbeath 4-1 at Tannadice on Sunday afternoon to make it three wins out of three in Betfred Cup Group C.
Sam Stanton gave Ray McKinnon's men a half-time lead and Billy King added the second goal just after the break before Scott Fraser converted a penalty for the third.
Cameron Muirhead pulled one back for the League 2 side but Matty Smith rounded things off for United 10 minutes from time.
