Dundee United beat Hearts 2-1 at Tynecastle on Friday night to move to within four points of third-placed Motherwell.

Brian Graham broke the deadlock 10 minutes before the break with a close-range finish after a fine move and Nadir Ciftci found the net with a terrific 25-yard strike with 20 minutes left.
Hearts skipper Danny Wilson reduced the deficit when he headed home a Sam Nicholson corner in 78 minutes but the visitors held on for their fifth away success of the season.
