Berwick Rangers have signed former Stirling Albion defender David Verlaque on a deal until the end of the season.
The right-sided 21-year-old, who can also play in midfield, featured as a trialist for John Coughlin's men at the weekend but was sent off late in the 3-2 win over leaders Forfar Athletic.
Verlaque, who was previously with Morton and Queen's Park, spent 18 months with Stirling before being released by the Binos last month.
He is suspended for Berwick's next two matches but will be available for the March 7 midweek meeting with Clyde at Shielfield.
