Kelle Roos
Aberdeen had to dig deep in their semi-final victory over Hibernian with Roos on top form to help the Reds reach Sunday’s showpiece match.
The Dutchman has made 48 saves in his 15 cinch Premiership appearances to date with the Dons keeping three clean sheets in the top flight.
Roos likes to dominate his penalty area and his physical presence makes him one of the toughest goalkeepers to beat in one-on-one situations.
Jamie McGrath
The Republic of Ireland international has rediscovered his best form in the Granite City in a more advanced midfield role.
While Graeme Shinnie and Leighton Clarkson pull the strings from deeper positions, McGrath has been given freedom to support the team’s attackers and he’s been rewarded with more goal involvements.
McGrath’s energy and desire to track back could be crucial if this match goes the distance.
Bojan Miovski
One of the cinch Premiership’s leading forwards, Aberdeen’s number nine was the hero with his winner against Hibernian securing a place in the final.
The Macedonian has a good record against Sunday’s opponents. He scored against Rangers in last year’s semi-final at Hampden and he also found in the net in the last league meeting between the teams at Pittodrie.
Good in the air and talented with the ball at his feet, Miovski makes clever runs to allow teammates to create goalscoring chances for him but he’s also capable of fashioning opportunities for himself.
Miovski has 12 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions this term and should he shake off a knock then he’ll give the Rangers defence plenty to think about.
