Arbroath closed the gap on Ladbrokes League 2 leaders Forfar Athletic to four points with a 2-0 win at bottom club Cowdenbeath.

Goals in the last 15 minutes from Josh Skelly and Steven Doris gave Dick Campbell's men all three points at Central Park on Christmas Eve.

Annan Athletic beat Berwick Rangers 3-1 at Galabank. David McKenna's opener was quickly cancelled out by Pat Scullion but Peter Watson and Rabin Omar both scored before half-time.

It finished 2-2 between Montrose and Stirling Albion at Links Park. An Andrew Steeves OG was overturned by goals from Terry Masson and Gary Fraser but Ross Smith earned the Binos a draw.
