Rangers won 2-1 at Dumbarton on Saturday to maintain their 100% record and move seven points clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Championship.
Top scorer Martyn Waghorn broke the deadlock in 64 minutes and scored from the spot after Gregor Buchanan had been sent off. Garry Fleming pulled one back with a last-minute penalty.
Second-placed Falkirk were held to a 1-1 draw at Alloa despite taking the lead through John Baird's penalty midway through the second half. Jason Marr was sent off for conceding the spot-kick but the 10-man Wasps earned a point with a last-minute goal from Colin Hamilton.
Hibernian are up to third place after beating bottom club Livingston 1-0 at Almondvale, where Liam Henderson struck early in the second half.
Queen of the South and Morton drew 2-2 at Palmerston. The visitors were twice ahead through a Chris Higgins own goal and Denny Johnstone but Queens hit back thanks to Derek Lyle then a Luca Gasparotto own goal.
