Rangers skipper Lee Wallace has signed a new contract that will keep him at the Ibrox club until the summer of 2019.
The 28-year-old Scotland internationalist made the move from Hearts in 2011 and Gers boss Mark Warburton told the club website: "Lee will rise to the challenge of this season, which we know will be tough.
"He will demand more from the younger players and the older players alike. The other players will also demand of him and he has responsibilities too.”
