Stenhousemuir hope to have experienced defender Eddie Malone available for their final two scheduled games of the season after his ankle injury.
The 29-year-old was injured against Stranraer at the end of March but manager Scott Booth is hoping Malone will be fit for what could be vital games against Airdrie and Brechin as the Warriors look to claim a play-off place.
Booth said: “Eddie’s injury is responding to treatment but this weekend’s game with Rangers is probably just too soon.
“Hopefully we will have him for the last two games, which could be massive in our season.”
