@splstats looks at some of the numbers behind the weekend games:

Celtic defeated Dundee United 2-0 at Hampden on Sunday to win the League Cup for the first time in six years. The Bhoys have now faced United six times in major cup finals, and have won all six of them – four in the Scottish Cup and two in the League Cup. Ronny Deila's side kept clean sheets in each of their four matches in this season's competition, making them the third side in four seasons to win the League Cup without conceding a goal.

Lee Miller struck late to hand Kilmarnock a 1-0 victory over St Mirren and keep the Ayrshire side's top-six hopes alive. Killie are now unbeaten in their last seven league matches – their best run since X-Men, Billy Elliot and Road Trip were in UK cinemas back in the autumn of 2000. On that occasion, Bobby Williamson's side strung together a nine-match unbeaten streak, the last of which was a famous 3-0 win at Ibrox. Saturday's game marked the Rugby Park side's fourth consecutive victory over St Mirren, and all of them have been by a single goal.

Hibernian defeated Cowdenbeath 2-0 at Central Park to move seven points clear of Rangers in second place in the Championship table. Alan Stubbs' side have now recorded seven wins in a row in all competitions, which represents their best winning streak since August 2000. Back then, Alex McLeish was Hibs boss, and the UK No 1 singles included “7 Days” by Craig David and “Rock DJ” by Robbie Williams. The Hibees are now unbeaten in 15 matches in all competitions since losing to Falkirk in early December, and that defeat was their only one in their last 22 league matches.

Airdrieonians continued their late push for a League 1 play-off place with a 2-1 win over leaders Morton at the Excelsior Stadium. Gary Bollan's side have now gone nine league matches without defeat, moving them to within four points of Brechin City in fourth place, and just eight points off the top of the table. This marks the Diamonds' best unbeaten run in over a decade, since Sandy Stewart's side reeled off 18 matches without defeat in the second half of their 2003/04 Division Two championship-winning season.

Arbroath revived their League 2 title hopes by defeating Clyde 3-1 at Gayfield on Saturday thanks to a Bobby Linn hat-trick. Allan Moore's men had gone 10 matches without a win in all competitions since the start of 2015, but Saturday's success leaves them just five points behind Albion Rovers at the top of the table. The Red Lichties are now unbeaten in their last 10 matches against Clyde, winning eight and drawing two. Their last defeat to the Bully Wee came way back in December 2009.
