@splstats looks at some of the numbers behind the weekend games:

8 Dundee United's 1-0 victory over Hamilton Accies confirmed their place in the top six, and kept them in the hunt for a European spot. United have now reached the top six in eight consecutive seasons, the longest streak of any side other than Celtic or Rangers since the split was introduced in 2000/01. The Terrors' victory extended their unbeaten run against Accies to seven matches - they have picked up five wins and two draws since their last defeat back in February 2010.

3 Partick Thistle defeated Motherwell 2-0 at Firhill to move seven points clear of their opponents in the battle to avoid the relegation play-off.  The Jags have now recorded three consecutive league wins at Firhill, the first time they have done so in the top flight in over a decade. Westlife, Christina Aguilera and Daniel Bedingfield all pulled off UK No 1s during their last winning streak – that came in November and December of 2002, when Motherwell, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock and Dunfermline were all defeated.

2 Goals from Jason Cummings and Farid El Alagui handed Hibernian a 2-0 victory over Hearts at Easter Road which kept them in second place in the Championship table. It ended a run of five Edinburgh derbies without a win, and represented just a fourth success in their last 25 meetings with the Jam Tarts. Sunday's win was the first time Hibs had defeated Hearts by more than a goal in almost a decade – their last two-goal success came back in October 2005, when Guillaume Beuzelin and Garry O'Connor scored in a 2-0 victory.

5 Forfar Athletic climbed to the top of the League 1 table courtesy of Saturday’s 2-0 win over Airdrieonians at Station Park. Dick Campbell’s side have now won five games in a row, scoring 13 goals in the process and conceding just three times. The last time they won five (or more) consecutive games was in March and April of 2010, when they won seven in a row in their Division Three campaign, and eventually gained promotion. The Loons have won just three league titles in their 130-year history, but they are now just three wins away from making it number four.

144 Clyde ended a run of 144 matches without a goalless draw when they held Berwick Rangers to a 0-0 draw at Shielfield on Saturday. The Bully Wee hadn’t previously drawn 0-0 in any competition since a stalemate against Annan Athletic at Broadwood back in November 2011.  Curiously, that Annan fixture was actually their third goalless draw in six matches – very few would have suspected it would take so long for a fourth.
