Weekend preview in numbers

Some facts and figures ahead of this weekend's SPFL games...

3 Celtic and Rangers have both won three games out of three in the Ladbrokes Premiership this season as they prepare to meet at Ibrox on Sunday, live on Sky Sports at 12 noon. All four Old Firm derbies in 2018/19 were won by the home team.

5 Livingston are third in the Ladbrokes Premiership on five points, following up draws against Motherwell and St Johnstone with a 4-1 win at Ross County. Next up for Gary Holt’s team is a home match with a St Mirren side whose three fixtures have all ended 1-0 (one win and two defeats).

23 It’s 23 years since there was a Dundee derby in the second tier of Scottish football – the last one was in March 1996 when Dundee United won 2-0 at Tannadice. United, who have made a perfect start in the Ladbrokes Championship, host their city rivals on Friday, live on BT Sport at 7.45pm.

16 Morton’s three games in the Ladbrokes Championship this season have produced a total of 16 goals for an average of 5.33 per match. David Hopkin’s men make the long journey north to play Inverness CT on Friday, live on BBC Scotland at 7.05pm.

2 Raith Rovers have a two-point lead over Falkirk in Ladbrokes League 1. Rovers make the short journey to Methil to play unbeaten East Fife while the Bairns are also on their travels – they face an Airdrieonians team who have won twice and lost twice so far.

4 Promoted Peterhead have played four games so far in Ladbrokes League 1, winning one, drawing two and losing one, with four goals scored and four conceded. The Blue Toon make the 540-mile round trip to play a Stranraer side just one point below them.

1 Cove Rangers have a one-point lead over Edinburgh City at the top of Ladbrokes League 2 going into Saturday’s home match against a Queen’s Park team who are also unbeaten. Cove have scored 14 goals in their four games so far, in a sequence of 5-4-3-2.

0 Stirling Albion are the only SPFL team yet to pick up a point this season. The Binos are looking to get off the mark when they play Albion Rovers at the Reigart Stadium in Ladbrokes League 2.
