Weekend in numbers

Resident statto @splstats looks at some of the key numbers behind the weekend games in the SPFL...

Robbie Neilson’s side have picked up 10 wins and a draw since their last defeat, which came on their previous visit to Dumfries in October. The Terrors have recorded five consecutive away wins for the first time in over 30 years – the last time they did so was from December 1988 to January 1989.

The sides have met three times this season and all of them have ended in 1-1 draws. In all three matches, Alloa have taken the lead but have been pegged back by Thistle. Forty-year-old former Scotland striker Kenny Miller started for Ian McCall’s men – he made his debut for Hibernian in 1997 and has now played in four different decades (90s, 00s, 10s, 20s).

Amazingly, Rovers have beaten the Blue Toon four times at Stark’s Park this season, having faced them twice in the league and also in both the Betfred Cup and Scottish Cup – it is the first time they have ever beaten the same team four times in the same season in Kirkcaldy.
