3 – Ross County defeated Aberdeen 2-1 at Pittodrie to move seven points clear of the Ladbrokes Premiership relegation places. A Billy Mckay double ended the Staggies’ run of 12 away matches without a win, which had stretched back to September. Saturday’s success was Ross County’s first win over the Dons since September 2016 – they had lost each of their last seven matches against Aberdeen. 100 – St Johnstone stretched their unbeaten run to six matches thanks to their 2-2 draw with Rangers at McDiarmid Park. Saints remain in eighth place in the Ladbrokes Premiership table but are just five points off the top six with a game in hand. Tommy Wright’s side picked up a point at home to Rangers for the first time since a 1-1 draw in December 2016 – they had suffered five straight defeats in Perth since then. The point was secured by Stevie May’s late equaliser – it was the striker’s 100th career goal in all competitions.

6 – Dundee United recorded their first win in six matches, defeating Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2-1 at Tannadice to move 21 points clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Championship. Lawrence Shankland was on target again to take his tally to 24 goals in 23 Ladbrokes Championship matches, equalling his tally for last season. Steven MacLean netted the only goal of the game, his first since joining Rovers on loan from Heart of Midlothian in January. The 37-year-old striker has now scored for 11 different clubs in his career, seven in English football and four in Scotland. John McGlynn’s side have only lost two of their last 20 league matches and are unbeaten in their last seven.
