@splstats looks at some of the numbers behind the weekend games:

5 Inverness Caledonian Thistle's 2-0 victory over Hamilton Accies was their fifth league win in a row, and kept them just four points behind Celtic at the top of the table. It's only the third time the Caley Jags have managed five wins in a row in the top flight of Scottish football. The first came in the 2005/06 season, when Charlie Christie's side won all five of their post-split fixtures - making them the only side other than Celtic ever to have done so. Their second five-match winning streak came under Craig Brewster in November and December 2007, but his team would go on to win just five of their remaining 20 matches that season.

4 Dundee full-back Gary Irvine scored his side's equaliser in their 2-1 victory over St Mirren on Saturday to continue his incredible purple patch in front of goal. Prior to Christmas, Irvine had played in a total of 66 top-flight matches for St Johnstone and Dundee without scoring a single goal. Santa must have left him some new shooting boots under the tree, because since then he has scored four times in seven matches.

20 Falkirk's 3-2 victory at Tynecastle on Saturday ended Hearts' unbeaten start to the season and allowed them to leapfrog Queen of the South into the final play-off spot. It was the Bairns' first league win at Tynecastle in almost 20 years – their last success came in April 1995, when the late Paul McGrillen scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory. Since then they had visited Gorgie on league business on 11 occasions, losing eight and drawing the other three.

10 Stranraer's 1-1 draw away to Airdrieonians on Saturday kept them ahead of Forfar Athletic at the top of the League 1 table and extended their impressive unbeaten run away from home. Stevie Aitken's side have now gone 10 away league matches without defeat, equalling a club record set in 1993 and again in 2010. The only negative for Stranraer was Jim Lister's late equaliser, which denied The Blues their first ever victory at the Excelsior Stadium – they've now lost six and drawn four in 10 visits.

3 Albion Rovers recorded a thrilling 4-3 victory over Montrose at Links Park to move to within two points of Arbroath at the top of the League 2 table. Rovers have now won three consecutive away league matches for the first time since March 2011 – a season in which they would go on to gain promotion to the third tier. Darren Young's side have scored four goals in back-to-back away league matches – the first time they have managed such a feat since 2008.
