@splstats looks at some of the numbers behind the weekend games.

12 Raith Rovers defeated Hibernian 2-1 at Stark's Park on Saturday to move to within five points of Queen of the South in the final play-off spot. It marked Rovers' first league win over the Edinburgh club in almost two decades, ending a run of 12 matches without a victory. “Spaceman” by Babylon Zoo was UK No 1 the last time they beat Hibs in the league – that came back in February 1996 when Davie Kirkwood scored the only goal of the game at Stark's Park.

9 Heart of Midlothian celebrated their Championship title by defeating Queen of the South 2-0 at Tynecastle. Robbie Neilson's side have now recorded nine consecutive victories, scoring 32 goals in the process. Harold MacMillan was the Prime Minister the last time the Jam Tarts managed nine or more wins in a row – that was a streak of 10 in a row during October and November 1959 on their way to their last top-tier title.

5 Stranraer came from behind to defeat Peterhead 2-1 at Balmoor and remain top of League 1 with five matches remaining. Stephen Aitken's side have won all five of their meetings with Jim McInally's men this season, and have scored 14 times in those five matches. This is the first time Stranraer have managed a whitewash of Peterhead in a season, and represents an element of revenge for the 2008/09 campaign, when the Blue Toon won four out of four against the Blues.

4 Morton thumped Dunfermline 4-0 at East End Park to keep themselves a point behind Stranraer in the race for the League 1 title. Saturday's four-goal winning margin represented their biggest ever away win against the Pars, on what was their 50th visit to Dunfermline in national league and cup competitions. Jim Duffy's men completed a clean sweep of the Pars in this season's League 1 – the first time they have ever achieved this against Dunfermline since the move to playing each other four times in the mid-1970s.

4 East Stirlingshire kept themselves three points behind East Fife in the race for the final League 2 play-off spot by defeating Arbroath 1-0 at Ochilview. The Shire have now recorded four wins in a row at Ochilview, their best run in almost seven years. The last time they managed four or more home wins in a row was a seven-match streak between September and December 2008, in a season when they went on to finish in third place.
