@splstats looks at some of the numbers behind the weekend games:

4 Livingston won the Petrofac Training Cup for the first time in their history by defeating Alloa at McDiarmid Park on Sunday. Livi's 4-0 success was the biggest winning margin in the final of this competition – the previous best was Falkirk's 3-0 victory over St Mirren in 1993/94. Striker Jordan White netted two goals after coming on as a substitute, making him the first player to score a double since the 1999/00 final, when two players achieved the feat. Back then, Alloa beat Inverness CT on penalties after a 4-4 draw, with Martin Cameron scoring a double for the Wasps, and Paul Sheerin netting a hat-trick for the Caley Jags.

1 Ross County defeated Dundee United 2-1 away from home to move 10 points clear of St Mirren at the bottom of the Premiership. Goals from Jackson Irvine and Raffaele de Vita handed the Staggies their first ever win at Tannadice in what was their eighth visit to the stadium. County have now earned six wins and a draw from their last seven matches, having won just twice in their opening 24 games.

3 Cowdenbeath defeated Dumbarton 3-0 at Central Park to move above Alloa Athletic and out of the relegation play-off spot. The Blue Brazil ended a run of eight home matches without a victory – they had suffered seven defeats and a draw since beating Livingston at home back in November.  The three-goal winning margin was their biggest of the season – the last time they won a match so comfortably was their final game of last season when Dunfermline were beaten 3-0 at East End Park in the second leg of the play-off final.

4 Stranraer defeated Ayr United 1-0 at Stair Park to remain a point clear of Forfar Athletic at the summit of League 1. Stephen Aitken's side have now recorded four consecutive league wins, but know that they may need another four in their final four matches to secure the title. The Blues have left it late to record each of these four victories – all have been won by a single goal, and in each case the winning goal has been scored in the final half hour. Willie Gibson scored in the 68th minute against Stirling Albion and the 83rd minute against Airdrie, then Jamie Longworth struck in the 82nd minute against Peterhead before Craig Malcolm's 64th-minute strike against Ayr on Saturday.

8 Albion Rovers defeated Berwick Rangers 2-0 on Saturday to move eight points clear of Queen's Park at the top of League 2. Darren Young's side have won six of their last seven matches, keeping clean sheets in five of those, and now have one hand on the trophy. Rovers need just five points from their remaining four matches to seal the title and a return to League 1 just two years after being relegated.
