Weekend preview

There's another big weekend of football coming up across all four divisions of the SPFL...

Ladbrokes Premiership
The action gets under way at the Tony Macaroni Arena on Friday evening when Livingston host Hibernian, live on BT Sport. A win for Hibs would take them above Hearts and all but guarantee a top-six finish. Hearts host Aberdeen on Saturday while Motherwell and St Johnstone meet at Fir Park, with both still in contention for the top six. There's a massive match in Paisley as bottom club St Mirren play host to a Dundee team just one point above them. Kilmarnock are fourth going into their Rugby Park clash with a Hamilton Accies team who are six points ahead of the bottom two. On Sunday, leaders Celtic are at home to Rangers, live on Sky Sports at 12 noon. Neil Lennon's team have a 10-point advantage with eight fixture rounds remaining in the Ladbrokes Premiership.

Ladbrokes Championship
Dunfermline Athletic have the chance to move level on points with play-off rivals Ayr United when the teams meet at East End Park on Friday night, live on BBC Scotland at 7.05pm. Leaders Ross County are away to bottom club Alloa Athletic on Saturday while Dundee United, who have closed the gap on the Staggies to two points, welcome struggling Queen of the South to Tannadice. Inverness CT, who are up to third spot, entertain a Falkirk side who have moved out of the relegation zone while Morton take on ninth-placed Partick Thistle at Cappielow.

Ladbrokes League 1
Arbroath could be crowned champions this weekend if they beat local rivals Forfar Athletic at Station Park and closest challengers Raith Rovers lose to East Fife at Bayview. Brechin City, who moved out of the relegation zone in midweek, welcome Airdrieonians to Glebe Park. Montrose, who could still make the play-offs, are up against second-bottom Stranraer at Links Park and Dumbarton are at home to last-placed Stenhousemuir.

Ladbrokes League 2
Peterhead have a five-point lead at the top as they prepare to meet Cowdenbeath at Balmoor while second-placed Edinburgh City travel to Berwick Rangers, who have slipped to the foot of the table. Albion Rovers host Clyde in a big game for both clubs while fourth-placed Annan Athletic go to Elgin City and Queen's Park play Stirling Albion at Hampden.
