Weekend preview

There's another big weekend of football coming up in the SPFL...

Ladbrokes Premiership
Celtic need only six more points to retain the title and could be crowned champions this weekend if they beat Livingston at Celtic Park and Rangers lose to Motherwell on Sunday, live on Sky Sports at 12.30pm. The Edinburgh derby at Tynecastle takes centre stage on Saturday, live on BT Sport at 12.30pm. Hibs are now just a point behind their city rivals and remain unbeaten in the Premiership since Paul Heckingbottom took over. Third-placed Kilmarnock are at home to St Johnstone and Aberdeen, in fourth, are away to bottom club Dundee, who have lost six games on the trot. There's a big match at the Hope CBD Stadium as Hamilton Accies host a St Mirren team once place and four points below them.

Ladbrokes Championship
The top two meet in Dingwall on Friday night as leaders Ross County entertain Dundee United, live on BBC Scotland at 7.05pm. The Staggies have a five-point lead and a game in hand so a win would be a huge step towards the title. It's third against fourth at Somerset Park, where Ayr United face Inverness CT, while Queen of the South have the chance to leapfrog Morton when the teams meet at Palmerston. Partick Thistle, who currently occupy ninth place, take on fifth-placed Dunfermline Athletic at the Energy Check Stadium at the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill while Falkirk and Alloa Athletic meet in vital match at the Falkirk Stadium as both sides battle relegation.

Ladbrokes League 1
Arbroath have another chance to clinch the title on Saturday but must beat in-form local rivals Montrose at Gayfield and hope closest-challengers Raith Rovers lose at bottom club Stenhousemuir. Third-placed Forfar Athletic make the long journey south to play relegation-threatened Stranraer and there's a key game in the race for the promotion play-offs as Airdrieonians host East Fife. Dumbarton and Brechin City are both just outside the relegation zone and separated by only a point going into their game at the C & G Systems Stadium.

Ladbrokes League 2
The game of the day is at Broadwood, where in-form Clyde have the opportunity to close the gap on leaders Peterhead to three points. Edinburgh City, in second spot, are away to a Cowdenbeath team on a poor run of results and Annan Athletic are all but assured of a play-off place going into their Galabank meeting with bottom club Berwick Rangers. Albion Rovers have a home fixture against Queen's Park as they look to increase their one-point advantage over Berwick while Stirling Albion and Elgin City meet in a mid-table match at Forthbank.
